When I was looking for another employee, my colleague told me, "Eva, if you find a person who can do at least half of what you can do, it will be a real victory."
I am often asked - how do you manage to do everything? Manage an agency, play sports, read books, write articles, raise a two-month-old baby, maintain love and happiness in the family.
I will not waste time on lyrics, I will tell you a few important rules:
Eat a frog — the frog-eating method is the basis of my breakfast. A frog is the most unpleasant task that you usually put off for later. Every morning you need to start with a frog. This is important because the feeling of a “suspended” task depresses a person as a whole and does not allow you to enjoy life. And we need to enjoy it, because joy should be list of japan cell phone numbers at the heart of work and life.
I divide frogs into household and work frogs. There are frogs in sports too. For me, these are lunges.
In everyday life — calls (I hate calling and talking on the phone).
In work — pre-sales and commercial offers. They should be done first. If the frog is big, then divide it into pieces and do part of it per day.
Prioritize. Always do what can work without you. For example, launch an ad, set a technical task for an employee, send a letter to which you will have to wait for a response.
In relationships with people, this is called "the ball is in your court." The ball should always be in the other person's court.
In relation to other work, all processes should work. Processes that require your participation only at the start should be launched first.
The Three-Minute Rule. If a task can be done in 3 minutes, it should be done. This allows you to avoid snowballs in the future and forgotten trifles in the lingering present. This is the same Devil that hides in the details. Because we usually do not include small tasks in task lists and completely forget about them.
Useful services. I have irreplaceable services:
Wunderlist is a task setting program.
Notes on my phone - I write down ideas, any thoughts and anything that might be useful to me in the future. Also shopping lists.
Google calendar - it contains all my events - meetings, workouts, trips to beauty salons, work and family events.
Evernote is a notepad for links and notes - in it I store information, texts, blogs and drafts. And now I am writing this text in it.
And, of course, the main weapon of a successful and fast person is sleep. You need to sleep at least 8 hours, otherwise no services or techniques will replace the efficiency of a vigorous brain. A sleepy person's efficiency drops significantly. Personally, when I'm alert, I'll do a task in 40 minutes, and when I'm sleepy, in 4 hours. It's better to get an extra hour of sleep and do more + maintain quality.
Only when I'm well-rested can I do everything quickly and clearly.
I wish the same for you
