Roles and responsibilities in agile methodologies

Post by nusaiba128 »

Clear definition of responsibility is key in Agile methodology. Each role has its specific tasks that support agile project management. In a typical team, you will find three main roles.

Roles in agile methodologies

The Scrum Master is the person responsible for leading the team according to Agile principles. His job is to remove obstacles that may affect the team's progress and lead meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, business owner database and retrospectives.

The Product Owner represents the interests of the customer and the business. He is responsible for managing the product backlog, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring that the team is working on the most valuable elements of the product.

A development team is a group of specialists (e.g. programmers, testers, UX designers) who jointly carry out the tasks planned for the sprint.

In Agile, all team members are equal and responsible for delivering a valuable product at the end of each sprint. This approach allows for effective collaboration and quick adaptation to changes.
