ine years ago we released the first beta version of Tutanota, the privacy-friendly, security-focused, open-source email alternative. Our mission: to end state and corporate surveillance. Now we have reached another milestone: 10 million users!
Since launching Tutanota in 2014, our core team (Arne, Matthias, Hanna and Bernd) hasn't changed for one simple reason: We are passionate about privacy and we small business email list love being able to offer a service that brings privacy to millions of people around the world.
Now, we are pleased to announce that we have passed the ten million user milestone.
This major achievement is not only a success for our encrypted email and calendar service Tutanota, but also for the security of ten million people: Thanks to the encryption built into Tutanota, our users can communicate online confidentially and be sure that their right to privacy is respected.
This is in contrast to Silicon Valley tech giants, who use and abuse user data for their own purposes, such as targeted advertising. Tutanota users can rest assured that their data is not abused and that they are not profiled.
