What have I learned and what do I plan to do for the next 30 days?
As I told you at the beginning of the post, these two months have been crazy .

I started June with a personal setback that forced me to set priorities and make difficult decisions.

The result? Among other things, the most difficult thing has been giving up some of my projects , closing my online store rufus&company after 6 years of operation (although I hope the closure is temporary) and leaving some clients.

After almost 20 years working on my own, changes of direction, unexpected events or complicated situations do not surprise me. And that's how it is, when you have your own project you have to be able to go outside yourself, put aside for a moment your desires and what your gut tells you, and look at the whole picture from above .

Don't you sometimes find it easier to give advice to a friend about a situation than to apply it to yourself? Well, when you run a business, you can't afford that luxury. Keep a cool head enough to look at your situation from the outside, draw conclusions and make decisions. Even if you don't like them .

In June I also began the launch and development of my first online course, the Email Detox Challenge , a project that has only given me joy from minute zero.

I will talk more extensively about the successes in the organization of the course, the distribution of content, or the delivery of materials in a post dedicated only to the Challenge. I think I can give you some very useful tips if you are going to launch a course or similar project .

In July the first students arrived, we started on the 1st and surprise! 60 people during the first month and zero requests for leave. I didn't expect this reception ?

But above all, I didn't expect the fantastic feedback and the great messages that I started receiving as the classes were developing . Without a doubt, this has been the extra motivation that has helped me to keep going these last few weeks.

From here I would like to thank my first students for the energy they have put into the Challenge, they have been fantastic. ☺

And what do I propose for this next month?
Simple: let myself go.
It's August, I've had two very intense months, September is going to be quite strong too. So for now I'm not thinking about anything other than getting through the daily work and going to the beach in a few days!

2 Zero Chaos Tips
Today I bring you a couple of very very very useful and little known tips. Let's see what you think.

[1] Your own online meeting room (free)
Working 100% online means constantly looking for alternative ways to communicate with clients, collaborators, virtual colleagues... and the good thing is that there are tools that help you maintain a more human contact than emails. Plus, it's much faster and you waste less time resolving an issue face to face by talking than by exchanging a bunch of emails in which the details get lost.

And how to do it?
A few weeks ago I discovered Appear.in , an online tool where you can create a room for free to meet virtually with up to 8 people , share cameras to see each other's faces and even share screens in case you need to show something that's on your computer.

It's super practical, easy, fast and free.
And, if that weren't enough, you can create a room with your name or the name of your brand and claim it as yours . So that personalized URL with your branding belongs to you (also without paying anything) and you can use it regularly for your appointments.
