How to create a creative business
I can't tell you how many times I've seen the same mistake at the beginning of my clients' and friends' projects.
Did you start off a bit crazy? Did you lack planning ? Did you start working without a plan or a defined strategy and just go with the flow of what came along each day?
And in the end, did your own project end up suffocating you?
Or, worse yet… are you right now at that fateful moment, about to die of stress ?
I'm going to do it like in the typical joke: I have two pieces of news for you, one good and one bad.
The bad news is that you have a serious problem, but I'm sure you already know that without me needing to tell you.
The good news is that you are not the first person this has happened to and there are fantastic people willing to share their experience so you know how to solve it ( or avoid it if you are not yet in the drowning phase
My guest for this interview, Laura López, is a designer who started out providing design services for other entrepreneurs. In less than two years she was burned out. Many clients who paid too little, too many hours of work, little time for her personal life... ( I'm sure this sounds familiar to you too )

At that time, learning from his mistakes in order to evolve, he shaped his method to help freelance designers and creatives correctly value their work and know how to attract quality clients, setting appropriate rates.
She is so good at helping other entrepreneurs that she now only focuses on training and consulting and has almost stopped providing design services. Don't you think that's a fascinating evolution?
WHO IS LAURA LOPEZ?
I'm sure you've heard of Laura or one of her sisters, because they are the Trimarketers : triplets who are dedicated to online marketing, each with a specialization: Maite is a Facebook Ads specialist and Elsa is an email marketing machine with Mailchimp . Both provide services and training in their fields.
As I was telling you, Laura started out as a designer. But now she is focused on her project, aimed at designers and other creatives in the digital marketing sector.
Their mission is to help them grow their business, manage it better and work with more powerful clients, so that they can truly become entrepreneurs and not slaves to their work.
Thanks to his personal experience, he is very clear about what to do ( and what not to do ) to prevent your business from cannibalizing the rest of your life.
His entire method has a magnificent basic guideline to apply to business management: minimalism , that tendency to reduce everything to the essential, getting rid of unnecessary elements.
Can you imagine the power of this concept applied to your project?

Obviously, everything is about planning , strategy , measuring to decide, setting italy whatsapp number data clear objectives and eliminating everything that makes you waste time or is not profitable or operational...
Does this sound familiar to you ? In Caos Cero I have already told you how to set your strategic objectives to be able to achieve the results you set for yourself, or how to do an initial audit of your business to know where you are starting from, for example.
Wow, I think it's silly to tell you that I'm a big fan of Laura and her work.
I'm not going to tell you about the tips that came up during our chat (here's the video!), but I can assure you that they are useful and they work. I use most of them myself ( and I've written down a couple more to start using them RIGHT NOW ).
Another “leg” of her method: never stop training , says Laura. And it is completely true. It doesn’t matter if you use the most powerful programs on the market: the tool, on its own, is not going to do anything.
To do this, you have to recycle and learn continuously, so as not to be left out of the market. I have been super proud that one of her first steps to take control of her business was my Email Detox Challenge and that she herself remembers it as one of the turning points in her organization.
To make you even more eager to watch the interview with Laura, I'll leave you with one of her gems: “ between 30 and 50% of your working time is not billable . If you don't know how to value those hours, you're not only setting your rates wrong, but your business is failing, even if you don't see it yet…”
Do you want to stop feeling like your business is suffocating? You're taking too long to hit play…
Tell me if this has happened to you to
