If your site isn't configured with HTTPS, it's a good idea to make the switch. That "S" used to stand for "Socket Security Layer," but is now used for "Transport Layer Security."

In short, that "S" is an encrypted version of the HTTP protocol . Its function is to add a layer of cybersecurity for anyone who visits your website.

Go to the Site Audit HTTPS report.

Here you will see a score assigned to your free turkey number for whatsapp website and a list of potential issues. Take some time to fix any issues or move on to the next step if this page only shows green checkmarks.

Please note that HTTPS has been a ranking signal since 2014 , and if your site still runs on HTTP, you need to implement an SSL certificate .

You can do this for free with Let's Encrypt .

7. Make sure your site is mobile-friendly
We live in a mobile-first world, so if your site isn’t mobile-friendly, you’re not putting your users’ experience first.

Mobile-friendliness has been a ranking factor since 2015. The reality is that most sites are now responsive or have dedicated mobile-friendly versions, but that doesn't mean problems can't arise.

And most importantly, starting in 2021, mobile optimization is part of the Page Experience update .

A handy tool from Google called Mobile-Friendly Test lets you check how mobile versions of websites perform.

But you can also stay inside Site Audit to check for some mobile-friendliness issues like AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages).

AMP pages have simplified HTML to speed up loading times.

Go to the Crawled Pages report and filter by "AMP Links". You will see any issues on your site.

You can also go to the Statistics report to check if your site has AMP pages.

It is important to know if you have multiple versions of a page (such as one AMP and one non-AMP) because in this case you will need to set a canonical tag to point to the preferred page.
