The set of formats depends on the campaign objective. Each option uses a specific content type (this information is indicated on the right). If you hover over the format line, the display template will be displayed.

By scrolling down the page, the myTarget user will see the ad creation window. A check mark will appear next to the selected format.

Fine-tuning advertising on mobile devices
By selecting the desired ad format, the myTarget user can customize the ad impressions for specific mobile devices and Internet providers. However, these parameters will reduce desktop traffic for displaying ads.

UTM tags for links and offline conversions
The ad format section contains additional settings, which include the following items: adding UTM tags and accounting for offline conversions.

Using UTM tags, you can find out from overseas data which sources users came. They are added both automatically and manually.

Automatic UTM tags are not shown in the link. The system adds them to the "Link" field when displaying an ad.

When choosing UTM markup, you need to manually specify links with tags.

If the link is too long, it may alienate users. It is better to use a special shortener.

By recording offline conversions, you can calculate users who visited an offline store after seeing an ad. In addition, there is a function for calculating the cost of a visit. CRM or Wi-Fi analytics can be used to record visitors.

To collect information via Wi-Fi, you need to install special routers in the store. And it is better to do this before the campaign launch. The devices will detect identifiers (MAC addresses) of mobile devices with Wi-Fi enabled.

When collecting CRM data, the company needs to record phone numbers, emails, and purchase dates. Then you will need to upload the database to your myTarget account by going to the "Miscellaneous" tab. There you should specify the name and attribution period. The last parameter refers to the number of days after a click or display during which a store visit will be considered a conversion. The data needs to be entered into a file with the .csv extension.
