Perhaps the most common form of e-commerce, B2C occurs when a business sells a good or service to a consumer. For example, Netflix engages in B2C e-commerce when it sells its bulgaria phone number library service to viewers. The entire transaction takes place online.
Products can also be purchased through B2C e-commerce. Purchasing a physical good on Amazon is considered a B2C transaction.
In a B2C relationship, consumers often choose low-priced goods or services, and research shows that consumers value convenient and affordable shipping.

One interesting development in online traffic is the rapid growth of mobile phone usage. In fact, most internet usage occurs on mobile phones. Not surprisingly, this has been linked to the growth of m-commerce.
M-commerce may seem like another type of e-commerce. For example, a B2C purchase that occurs on a mobile device would be considered both B2C and m-commerce.
Because it includes other types of e-commerce, m-commerce has established itself as an e-commerce leader. In 2017, m-commerce accounted for 34.5% of all e-commerce. By 2022, m-commerce is expected to account for 58.9% of all e-commerce.
To keep up with competitors, all ecommerce businesses need to use responsive, mobile-friendly sites and checkout processes. As more people become mobile, sites need to do a better job of targeting mobile users.
