1. What is email encryption and how does it work?
Email encryption scrambles the contents of an email so that only someone with the decryption key can read it. Using public key cryptography, emails are encrypted with the recipient's public key and decrypted with the recipient's private key. This process ensures secure communications because messages remain private between sender and receiver. Certificate authorities issue digital certificates to verify public keys and authenticate users for secure email encryption.
