Create global percentage discounts

So far, you’ve learned how to add wholesale prices to individual products. But this can be a tedious process. There’s an easier option you might be interested in, which is to offer a percentage discount on all products if they’re purchased in bulk quantities.

For example, anyone who purchases more than 50 units of any product on your website will receive a 5% discount.

To do this, go to the WooCommerce Settings page and open the Wholesale Prices tab . Once that tab is open, open the Discount tab and you will see the general discount options:

Under Wholesale Role, select Wholesale Customer , and then add a percentage discount value, such as 5% or 10%, to apply to all products. After that, click the Add Mapping button , and the global discount will be applied across your website.

Now that you've enabled wholesale pricing and discounts on your website, you rich people database can test it out to see how it works. To do this, we recommend creating a test user account on your website.

Go to the Users » Add New page in your WordPress dashboard:

Here you can create an account by entering a name and password. Then select Wholesale Customer as the role and add the new user account.

Once you've done this, log in to your website using your new user account. Visit the product page where you applied the wholesale rules. You'll see that your product is listed at both the regular price and the wholesale price.

And that’s it! You’ve added wholesale pricing to your WooCommerce store. You can now offer different prices to your retail and wholesale customers.
