With LinkedIn's growth and drive for innovation, functionalities change regularly or new applications are added. In addition, we notice during training that there are still enough people who do not know about the existence of fun or useful free functions. In completely random order, you will therefore find 15 tips. For when things are a bit quieter at work or as a fresh new start for your personal activities on LinkedIn.

1. Your personal profile in a new guise
Attention! LinkedIn rolled out a new layout of the LinkedIn profile. You can clearly see this in the profile below of our colleague Ilse Weijland . At the top you see a representation of the new environment and at the bottom the old environment.

The differences? First, the contact details and the number of connections are no longer visible on the country email list right, but below the header. Have you not yet filled in your contact details? Then this might be the time, as they are displayed more clearly. Second, the summary is further down, and you see the 'highlights' first. LinkedIn is clearly focusing on interaction! Not a very exciting change, but good to know.

2. Say it with…
A voicemail message! Unknown makes unloved. And that is certainly the case with this functionality. Did you know that nowadays you can also leave voicemail messages with your connections on mobile, via the chat? For when you don't have time to type, have an arm injury or if you really want to give your message a personal touch. Handy!

3. Follow a company even more easily
When you invite someone to LinkedIn, you now immediately get the opportunity to follow this person's company. A great way to learn even more about your (potential) customer or employer. And all the more reason to get your company page in order.
