HTML errors and programming problems
Websites with many HTML errors can signal sloppy programming and a low-quality website. Make sure your website is free of HTML errors in Google Webmaster Tools that could affect your rankings.
29. Use H1, H2 and H3 tags
While headings may not play a critical role in your overall SEO performance, it is best to use them along with your main keywords in your content.
Use only one H1 title in your content to tell Google what your page is about. H2 and H3 should support mom database your main title.
The hierarchy order should be H1 > multiple H2 > multiple H3. Do not use H3 titles before H2.
30.
Nothing on your website should be over-optimized, neither on-page nor off-page SEO. When performing SEO for your website, try to follow best practices, but without overthinking it.
31. Image optimization
Your images should include descriptions, captions, and titles. Make sure your image names are relevant as well, so they can rank well on Google Images.
32. Broken links
Too many broken links on your website can be a sign of neglect and ultimately hurt your SEO.
A few broken links here and there won't cause a big problem, but if you have too many, you could run into trouble.
Over-optimization of everything
