Waterfall Disadvantages:
Lack of flexibility when requirements change.

Risk of delays if one step is blocked.

Construction and engineering companies often use the Waterfall methodology v vk database because these types of projects require precise planning and step-by-step execution. Large corporations such as Bechtel and Skanska often use this model in their infrastructure projects.

Agile Method – Agility in Action
Agile is a completely different approach – it’s more like riding a bike on a mountain trail. You have to be ready for sudden changes and unexpected obstacles.

The Agile manifesto is key, as it is the basis of the Agile philosophy, and which I wrote about in the textHERE.

Agile Manifesto

Agile divides a project into small, iterative steps, called sprints, that are carried out by small, agile teams. Each sprint typically lasts from one to four weeks and ends with the delivery of a specific product or feature. A key element of Agile is constant communication with the customer and rapid response to changing requirements.

When building a mobile app, a development team works on a new feature, such as adding in-app payment capabilities. First, they plan a sprint in which they define what needs to be done. Then, they execute the tasks, test them, and finally present them to the client. If the client is happy, they move on to the next sprint. If not, the development team makes adjustments.
