Meet SiteGround's WordPress Ambassadors

At SiteGround, we love WordPress and one of the ways we contribute to this Open Source initiative is by participating, organizing, and sponsoring WordPress events around the world. Now, we are proud to announce a new way we will support the community: SiteGround WordPress Ambassadors!
Why do we support volunteer speakers?
Over the years, we have met so many interesting people in the WordPress community and we have noticed that the speakers are mostly freelancers or small business owners. Most of them travel on their own and dedicate their time and expertise to the community to help it grow both in numbers and in expertise.
For this reason, we have decided to support these people who we believe are truly deserving. They are all great fans of WP and willing to share their skills and help others like us. We will help them by making it easier for them to travel from conference to conference, even those far from home.
Here is our first group of Ambassadors
April, Michelle, David, Joe, and Mike are our first WP Ambassadors, and we are thrilled new zealand mobile database to be working with them! It was a natural fit because we share common values. Like us, they believe that Open Source is a tool that allows people to create amazing things, and like us, they help people use WordPress better. They also help us make WordPress more accessible and popular.
We are happy to support them and help them continue to do what they do to spread their knowledge at events around the world. Let's find out more about them so you can recognize and say hello at upcoming events!

What do you love about the WordPress community?
The love and support. The WordPress community has embraced me during a very difficult time in my life. I have made new friends, developed new skills, and found a place where I can help. It was only through WordPress Meetups that I was able to build my business that now supports both my team and my family. What I find most amazing about the community is the generosity. Instead of guarding their knowledge, everyone shares what they do and know. There seems to be a genuine desire to help everyone succeed.
