In addition to being entertaining, TV series can teach valuable lessons on a variety of subjects, for viewers to put into practice in their professional and personal lives.

For Fernanda Hermanny , CEO of Afilio , a performance marketing company that connects advertisers to its own network of over one hundred thousand affiliates , the numbers are a consequence of the desire Brazilians have to grow and get better job opportunities.

“Entrepreneurship always starts with a good idea that often needs to be refined until the final product is achieved. Some people may think that the best lessons and learnings for corporate life are on LinkedIn , but they can also be found on television, such as in inspiring series and films,” says the executive.

As inspiration for an entrepreneurial mind comes from different places, Fernanda has selected 3 series about marketing to inspire new and old entrepreneurs.

With six full seasons available on HBO Max, Silicon Valley is set in Silicon Valley, a region of California fertile in technological and scientific innovations.

It shows a group of developers who create a program to impress a technology billionaire, but to do so, they will have to use persuasion strategies that are at the level of the eccentric executive.
