All the keys to the purchasing habits of the Spanish consumer post-coronavirus

The pandemic has accelerated processes and changed the habits of the Spanish consumer, such as the increased demand for online products. Today, 1 in 3 citizens (29%) continue to avoid shopping in physical stores . This is one of the conclusions of the report 'Understanding the new post-covid shopper' , prepared by The Retail Factory .

In it, the consultancy firm has analysed the afghanistan telephone number data different trends and purchasing preferences that have occurred over the last year. The physical store continues to be the most popular option for Spaniards, with 61% saying that they like the shopping experience and 55% who like to see and touch what they are going to take home.

However, online shopping is becoming more and more popular. 48% say they like to alternate between online and in-store shopping, while 41% say they will increasingly buy online.

Among the reasons that lead Spanish consumers to buy through e-commerce platforms is the convenience of having their purchases delivered to their homes and the time savings that come with making them.
