Event promotion provides opportunities to promote a product or project for which the event is being held.

Leads and conversions to purchase. Events attract a warm audience and warm it up.
Long-term media presence. Event advertising starts with an announcement and continues with a post-release and discussion after the event.
Personal communications with potential clients, partners, colleagues, specialists. Such interactions become especially successful at offline events, where everything is resolved faster or easier than online.
The ability to influence users through an additional communication channel.
Positioning, reputation and brand development. After the event, mentions of the company or product on the Internet and social networks increase, the brand strength increases.
The ability to tell about a product or technology in detail and clearly. This is especially important for complex products that require a lot of telling to the buyer at length.
Event Promotion Plan
Let's break the work down into stages.

Defining the target audience
Formulate who your event is intended for and the characteristics organize your finances with mint of the audience: interests, occupation, online behavior. Determine what needs of the participants it covers. Think about how to present the event so that it corresponds to the interests of potential visitors.

Selecting promotion channels
Assess which channels your audience visits, where your brand is more likely to touch them - for example, search advertising, targeted ads in Telegram and VKontakte, email newsletters, content in social networks. The priority should be placement on sites that cover the most interested audience ready to attend your event.

Dividing customers into segments
Segment your audience based on their level of exposure to the product or brand that the event is being promoted for:

are familiar with you, perhaps they attended previous events or made a purchase;
have heard of you, but know little;
don't know anything about your brand, but the topic of the event may be interesting to them.
The concept of promoting your event should include different appeals to such groups. New users should be told about the company, loyal customers - about the latest innovations, and competitors' consumers - about their advantages.
