On this occasion and after the previous editions of the SDG Breakfast in which we had María Cortés Puch and Miguel Ángel Moratinos , our speaker was Carlos Mataix, professor of the Department of Organization Engineering and director of the Center for Innovation in Technology for Human Development of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, itdUPM .

One of the main statements to be drawn from Carlos’ presentation is that true sustainable development “will not be possible without the establishment of alliances between states, markets and civil society.” This statement is undoubtedly from Goal 17: partnerships to achieve the goals.
