It has been available since early 2019 for companies whose categories in GMF defined stores, and now it has been made available to practically everyone in the Google Business Card panel (formerly Google My Business). We can create a catalog of all products divided into collections/categories and add a 1000-character description. Each product added to the collection has its own title, photo, unique 1000-character description, and a link to the product/service subpage of your website.
Why should products complement your company profile? First of all, they are visible right after clicking on the business card in the form of a carousel of products divided into categories. Additionally, they are displayed on both phones and other devices (laptop, desktop computer).

9. Get and respond to customer feedback
If you've ever wondered whether the number of reviews matters, we'll tell you right away that yes. It's worth encouraging your customers to take a few minutes and give us a recommendation on Google Maps.
To maximize the potential of an opinion, it should consist of at least 200 characters (an average of 3 sentences), and the content should include phrases of interest to us, names of cities and, preferably, photos.
Studies show that 75% of users trust reviews from other users as much as a recommendation from a friend . Additionally, according to research by Bright Local, you are 17% more likely to be contacted by a potential customer if you have positive reviews from your customers.
You should also react to the opinions you receive. It is worth thanking for the recommendation and referring to it in one sentence. It is important that each response is unique and does not duplicate the same content. There is a good chance that after adding the opinion, part of it will be displayed along with the business card in the organic Google search results.
It is worth remembering that we will achieve the most profit from a Google Maps listing when the average review is 4.0 or higher. Below this average, our company seems unattractive in the eyes of the customer.

Before adding a photo, check what Google itself thinks about it and whether the selected photo will benefit your company's profile on Google.
