How do you report a contact or message on WhatsApp

Post by mostakimvip06 »

To report a contact or message on WhatsApp, follow these simple steps:

Reporting a Contact
Open the chat with the contact you want to report.
Tap on the contact's name or number at the top of the chat screen to open their profile information.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
Tap Report
A pop-up menu will appear. You can choose mexico whatsapp number data to simply Report the contact, or Report and Block them.
If you choose Report, WhatsApp will receive the last five messages from this chat, but the contact will not be blocked and can still message you.
If you choose Report and Block, WhatsApp will receive the last five messages, and the contact will also be blocked, meaning they can no longer send you messages or calls.
Tap Report or Report and Block to confirm your action.
Reporting a Message
If you've received a specific message that is problematic, you can report the sender through that message:

Open the chat containing the message you want to report.
Tap on the contact's name or number at the top of the chat screen to open their profile information.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
Tap Report [Contact Name] or Report [Unknown Contact Number].
A pop-up menu will appear. You can choose to simply Report the contact, or Report and Block them.
What Happens When You Report?
When you report a contact or message, WhatsApp receives:

Up to the last five messages from the chat.
The reported user or group ID.
Information about when the message was sent and the type of message (text, image, video, etc.).
How the first contact was initiated between you and the reported user or group.
The person or group you reported will not be notified that you reported them. WhatsApp reviews reports and may take action if they find the reported account has violated their Terms of Service. Please note that reporting a user doesn't guarantee that WhatsApp will take action.

Additional Options
Blocking: If you don't want to receive further communication from a contact, you can block them. You can do this through the contact's profile or directly from the chat.
Deleting the Chat: You can also delete the entire chat history with the contact after blocking and/or reporting them.
By using the reporting features, you can help WhatsApp maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users. If you feel that you or someone else is in immediate danger, it's important to contact your local emergency services.
