Which is interesting

But just as she's about to kill him, here comes...

Magneto, Xavier, Wolverine and Mc Coy!

Because yes, it's a peace conference followed worldwide, but our good friends were able to enter without any problem, even though Xavier no longer has the slightest power to influence people. Probably he used his hairdresser's loyalty card to bluff the guards. Immediately, events follow one another. First, Xavier tries to convince Mystic to become nice again, because being mean is bad, but this speech worthy of an episode of Naruto is not enough to turn the beauty around (at the same time, she played in Hunger Games and therefore knows very well that just because something is bad doesn't mean it won't pay off). Wolverine, for his part, sees Commander Stryker in the room, and immediately, this brings back all the memories of the time (not yet arrived, but the Wolverine of the future country email list knows it) when Stryker experimented on him to give him adamantium claws. This confuses his thoughts and immediately the bridge between the Wolverine of the future and his present body is a little damaged.

Meanwhile, in the future, Wolverine is very agitated and risks coming out of his trance connecting him to the past, which surprises everyone.
I insist, because once again, this reminds us that no screenwriter can manage time travel correctly. It's not complicated: either the guy sent back to the past influences it, and therefore creates an alternative future (in which case, it's not very useful for the people in the rotten future, who are stuck in theirs), or the guy sent back, through his actions in the past, influences the original future, in which case, each of his actions in the past is instantly reflected in the original future. And so, this scene shouldn't exist since the future should already have been changed in one way or another. Or at the very least, Xavier and Magneto have direct memories of what happened that day, and therefore why Wolverine is agitated. And even then, that's being super nice and assuming that Wolverine's actions, however major, didn't change anything else.

In short, once again: even if you try to put band-aids on the holes, it's a scene that serves no purpose, except to highlight a major failure of the script. Hop.

Well, I say that, but as a reminder, here is what Filmactu says about it

Moving his X-Men back and forth through time was no easy feat. Far from breaking his teeth, Bryan Singer takes the opportunity to deliver, more than just another superhero film, a true work of science fiction.
Metro 's opinion

Fluid and expertly orchestrated time travel […] a large-scale, intelligent and ambitious spectacle.
And that of my intern

Are you sure my contract says I can be a cup holder when I'm wearing a tank top?
I really like people who take the biggest failures and present them as the film's greatest strengths. Again, professionals have talent. Occasionally, though, it would be nice to do your job. But hey, I'm just saying, do what you want.
