They voted him back in

Post by arzina221 »

Anne-Marie Trevelyan, defense minister. Brexiteer. Quit as a government aide last year in protest at the Withdrawal Agreement. Former public schoolgirl and PWC accountant. Lives in a Grade I-listed 17th-Century mansion in Northumberland, which has been owned by the Trevelyans for 250 years. Likeable wing of the ERG. Bemoans the Tories’ loss of younger voters and says her own teenage son would probably have backed her opponent in 2017.

Wendy Morton, justice minister. Remainer. Another promoted whip. Daughter of a Yorkshire farmer. Canal boat enthusiast. Runs a successful business with her husband, selling electronics to farmers around the world. Landed her West Midlands seat in 2015 after a wannabe candidate called Nick Timothy was blocked from standing by David Cameron.

Robin Walker, Scottish Office and whatsapp number list Northern Ireland Office minister. Neither Scottish nor Northern Irish. In fact he’s the MP for Worcester, just like his dad. Ex-public schoolboy. Genial chap. Moved sideways in the reshuffle from DExEU, presumably for voting Remain. Used to work for Roland Rudd at Finsbury, which probably didn’t help.

Matt Warman, culture minister. Yet another promoted whip. Bravely voted Remain in 2016 despite representing Boston, Britain’s most Brexity constituency. anyway the following year. Loyalist. Former Telegraph journo, like his new boss.
