Points to note when setting personas Define accurate, data-driven user profiles

Post by ashammi228 »

In order to develop products and services that meet customer needs, it is necessary to define a well-founded persona.

Personas are sometimes created in workshops with multiple people, but even if everyone has a good time, the persona created often ends up being far removed from reality. On the other hand, if you create a persona on your own or with a very small group of people, it may end up reflecting a biased view.

While you need to dig deep into who you are, make sure your personas are fusion database accurate and realistic, based on the data you've collected .

Define only what you need
In an attempt to make a persona too detailed, you may end up adding unnecessary information. Don't get too caught up in "making it specific," but instead, define only the information that is necessary.

For example, we mentioned geographic data in step 1 of setting up your persona, but if the products you want to develop are only going to be sold online, you may not need to go into that detail.

Let's go back to our goal of understanding the type of users who will use our company's products and services, and carefully consider what information is necessary and not.
