UX Writing , do you know it? You've probably heard of it mexico whatsapp but maybe you don't know exactly what it is.

UX Writing is a profession that has emerged in recent years in the United States, notably thanks to Google, Apple and Slack. It is starting to become more and more present in Europe , and is increasingly being talked about.
Unfortunately, it is very little and very poorly known and we tend to confuse it with copywriting .

What is UX Writing and why implement it?
UX Writing or user-centered writing is, as its name suggests, the art of writing by focusing on its target user .
The two main objectives of the UX Writer will be:
Writing different contents to meet user needs
Taking into account the company's positioning in the choice of words.
UX Writing is present everywhere on your site.
It is found in action buttons (the famous CTAs), in forms , titles , subtitles , menus , the 404 page , the contact page or even error messages . Each of these elements is to be put at the service of the user experience and promotes its optimization.

The difference between UX Writing and Copywriting
It is a discipline close to but different from copywriting.
Copywriting is the art of using words to convince a person to go in a specific direction.
It is present everywhere: on web and mobile applications, blogs, newspapers, in communication and especially in advertising.

Know your target
As in UX Design (and web writing) , knowing your target user is the basis .
This will allow you to know who you are addressing, to know the user's needs , their expectations , their obstacles , their motivations but also to know the environment in which they live and evolve.
This way, you will be able to create a robot portrait of your user , humanize them and this will help you in the rest of your work.
Adopt the right words, the right tone at the right time
By creating your persona (user profile) , you have collected very valuable data and now you know how to speak to your user, what tone and language to use.
But be careful, the writing of your content must also take into account the editorial line of your company. This is essential to maintain consistency between your different communication channels.
Stand out with a strong personality
By developing a strong personality, you will highlight your values , your history , your biases.
This is achieved through a sincere, authentic and unique speech. You can rely on customer testimonials , projects you have worked on or even by using an offbeat tone in your communication to develop it.
Structuring your content
Structuring and prioritizing information into sections is another basic element to facilitate reading and optimize the readability of your content . For each page, you must identify the why, how and who .
This way, your users will know that you are addressing them and they will find the answer(s) they need. Always keep in mind that the main objective of UX is to optimize the user experience on your site .
