The journalists took advantage of having one of the most important pieces of the OpenAI company before them, and decided to ask Altman about the open letter signed by Twitter CEO Elon Musk (who has created his own AI company), and by other managers and researchers in artificial intelligence.

Sam Altman said that he found this letter "ridiculous" because, as he has already clarified, his company is not developing ChatGPT-5.
