For those who read our article about email FollowUp and also Copywriting , today I bring you a new surprise.
As I say in the title, I decided to combine business with pleasure and I will present a Practical and Quick Guide with Cases and Hacks on Email Copywriting.
Shall we begin?
The importance of the title
You may be tired of hearing this, but the subject line, especially in emails, is the most important factor.
Take your own inbox as an example.
If you're like me, I imagine there are more job seekers database than 100 emails in there (read or not).
Now think, how are you going to get attention in the middle of all this?
The answer is the title .
A good title should be:
Of course
Relevant
Intriguing
Here’s one of the titles I’ve used that generated a lot of email openings :
Storytelling
It's no secret and you're tired of knowing:
Human beings love stories.
The art of storytelling is very old and remains strong to this day.
I bet you know some folk tale or remember some conversation you had recently.
Still don't know how to start a story? Then check out these tips:
1- Start from a question
2- Start from a provocation
3- Start from a promise
Now it's up to you.
Talk to the reader.
Just because it's an email doesn't mean you shouldn't interact with your audience.
Keep in mind that no one likes talking to a robot.
You can either thank as in the example below:
How to also make a call at the end of the email.
In this case, I recommend adding a PS at the end, inviting the person to a Skype conversation, to follow you on social media or to access a specific page! See the example:

Be direct.
One of the characteristics of an email is that it is brief .
It's not like an article where you stop for 5 minutes and read it to the end.
An email should grab attention within the first 5 seconds of someone opening it. It should also be read very quickly.
To do this, try to have compact content.
If you want to cover a more extensive topic, create a CTA so that the reader can go to your blog and learn more about the topic. See the example:
